Agreement with Fundación Voces de Esperanza to promote housing projects in vulnerable communities

San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

As part of their shared commitment to improve the quality of life of Honduran families in vulnerable situations, Habitat for Humanity Honduras and the organization Voces de Esperanza International Mission signed an inter-institutional cooperation agreement aimed at the co-management of housing and community development projects.

The signing of the agreement took place in San Pedro Sula and was attended by Martha Guillen, executive director of Habitat for Humanity Honduras; Jose Enrique Franco, president of its Board of Directors; Norman Rodriguez, executive director of Voces de Esperanza; and Mario Kafati, president of the Board of Directors of Voces de Esperanza.

With this agreement, both organizations consolidate a strategic alliance that will strengthen their capacity for action on behalf of vulnerable communities. The agreement will enable them to coordinate efforts to mobilize resources, promote joint activities and develop initiatives that promote sustainable housing solutions.

One of the key components of this collaboration will be the promotion of construction brigades in which Voces de Esperanza staff and volunteers will participate, contributing directly to improving the living conditions of Honduran families who currently lack an adequate place to live.

This alliance reaffirms the commitment of Habitat for Humanity Honduras and Voces de Esperanza to work together for a more equitable country, where solidarity, shared action and the desire to transform realities translate into concrete opportunities for those most in need.
