We have signed a Framework Agreement with Children International for sustainable development

San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

Aware of the need to strengthen collaborative work for the benefit of the most vulnerable communities in the country, Habitat for Humanity Honduras and Children International signed a Framework Agreement for inter-institutional cooperation, which establishes the basis for a strategic alliance aimed at promoting sustainable development and the integral well-being of children, youth and adults.

The agreement was signed by Martha Guillén, executive director of Habitat for Humanity Honduras; José Enrique Franco, president of the organization’s Board of Directors; and Mauricio Moncada, legal representative of Children International in Honduras. This alliance, with an initial duration of two years, seeks to join technical, logistical and human efforts in the execution of projects that directly benefit communities in vulnerable situations.

Both organizations share a vision of a country in which all people have access to better living conditions in fairer, safer and more dignified environments. Through this collaboration, they will promote initiatives focused on community strengthening, improvement of basic infrastructure, access to essential services and the construction of sustainable housing solutions.

The signing of this agreement represents a firm step towards strengthening sustainable community development in Honduras through inter-institutional cooperation, knowledge sharing and the implementation of innovative projects that have a positive impact on the lives of hundreds of Hondurans.
